what i can say about this movie is ... very nice leh ... the story is sooo nice ... sorry lah my vocab limited ... only know nice lol ... and the OST is ooooo wonderful ... nice sia ... its about the story of a girl named hanna who is super fat + ugly BUT got a wonderful voice ... her voice really nice ... so one day she decided to go plastic surgery ... inbetween got more details lah ... but i lazy type ... after plastic surgery she turned pretty but no one knows who is her past self ... so she became a singer and changed her name to jenny ... one day her producer found out jenny = hanna and one other singer found that out too ... so blah blah blah ... you all watch you all know le LOL :X ...

this story alot of life values ... ALOT and alot ... its really a must for ppl who got no values in life at all ... and of course its a must for ppl who wants to have a great laugh and a wonderful story ... basically i think the moral of the story is external beauty is nothing more than a portrait and inner beauty is the hardwork behind the portrait ... which can easily say as ... ppl only see the outside and not the inside of something ... cause the inside is always hidden until you really go and find out ...

okay SYF is over le ... i'm not going to type down day 6 results cause i'm too lazy ... so what i want to say is ... i know my tagboard alot ppl tag stuff ... some happy some not happy ... some flaming some good stuff ... but the point ppl dun get is ... i'm dun have the final say for the results ... its up to those 7 judges ... i can say what this band should get COP but then if the judges give GWH what can i do ? ... nothing rite ... and what can you guys do ? ... nothing also ... at most you all go find the judges and flame lah ... my words here doesn't carry any weight at all ... it doesn't affect the medal you guys will be getting ...

then another thing is ... ppl say about my comments what anyhow say dunno how to listen ... but hor ... if you read properly the most negative stuff i say is not clean no clarity messy birds not nice didn't play well or shouldn't get that medal ... and positive stuff is very clean got clarity nice birds good tone played well ... so let me ask you guys ... HOW HARD IS IT TO IDENTIFY ALL THESE ??? ... you dun need to be super pro to hear all these ... you can take any guy on the street and they can hear all these messyness or whatever too ... its not that hard ...

predicting what medal is easy ... i just based on the standard of day 1 for day 2 am and day 1 and day 2 am for day 2 pm and so on ... what so hard ? ... if you actually go there ... you'll know that its easy to predict ... anyway its kind of obvious the standard is different on every day every session and every interval ...

SYF Band Day 5 ... i'm still going to type all these out eventhough there's lots of stuff in my tagboard ... who cares ... day 5 i only went for AM session ... here goes ... btw i wun talk much about sunrise ... its TOO bored le ...

Tampines : sunrise was okay ... predicted silver got silver ... btw got chiobu in clarinet section i think ... hmm forget le ...

St Andrew's : safari was okay ... compare to most bands that played safari theirs wasn't that fast ... the sax solo was okay ... st pat one better lol ... merry widow i tot it was very nice ... but some ppl say not nice ... dunno them ... love the slow part ... the slow part sounded like those pro recordings de ... predicted GWH got gold ... why GWH ? ... since AMK can get it i was quite sure they could get it ... too bad ... the standard everyday every session every interval different ...

Bukit Merah : they played sunrise ... if i no remember wrongly flute solo doesn't sound like tongue-ing ... it sounded very slur ... dunno correct band or not ... getting old and forgetful ... if its not then i apologize ... to dance in a secret garden didn't remember much about this piece ... predicted bronze got bronze ...

Dunman High : sunrise was okay ... samurai the song is nice ... but they didn't play it well ... is it this piece that had a picc solo ? ... cause i remember got one picc solo wah i love the tone sia ... so different from the tones that i hear everywhere ... this tone is nice ... predicted silver got silver ...

Pasir Ris : forget le ... they played sunrise and green hills fantasy ... predicted silver got silver ...

Chung Cheng High (Yishun) : they played sunrise and armenian dances part 1 ... forget le ... got silver ...

Shuqun : ahhhhh my beloved sec school :D ... it will all be my honest opinion ... sunrise was okay ... didn't sounded very nice ... flute solo got a nice tone ... geruko is very nice ... eventhough the song itself not nice de -_- ... i LOVE the sax solo ... i tell you its the BEST sax solo of the whole syf so far ... so nice you know ... firstly the tone is WOW ... and can project well ... got style too ... wonderful ... very long no hear the shuqun sound le ... miss their sound ... actually hor ... side track abit ... i see them perform i miss my syf days ... where we as a band strive for the best ... and work together as a band ... ahhhh how i miss those days ... they got silver ... nvm you guys played and tried your best le !!! ... i'm proud of them !!! ... eventhough they didn't get the medal that they wanted but still they tried their best ... jiayou !!! ... the spirit of Shuqun will live on !!! ...

SYF Band Day 4 sucks ... i went for the morning session only ... cause got unity :X ... no lah ... cause got RV ... i tell you the judges are CRAZY ... so imbalance ... you shall know why soon ...

Ahmad Ibrahim : sunrise birds are not nice and the sound is like everywhere ... no direction ... choice piece the golden circle ... when the conductor raise the baton for them to come in first note rite ... it was really anticlimax ... the sound was like errrrrrrrrr ... totally anticlimax ... very messy too and the best part is their last note they threw the sound ... ewww ... predicted bronze got silver ...

Zhonghua : wah ... sunrise flute play wrong note ... its a very obvious wrong note ... star of dreams wasn't good ... through both pieces the sax was like tongue-ing so hard lah ... more of like a bunch of sound rather than music ... predicted bronze got silver ...

Ang Mo Kio : safari was good ... the sax solo was good ... but can be better ... der vogelhandler was okay ... their overall intonation was okay and they were quite blended and of course their sound was clear ... predicted gold got GWH ...

Ngee Ann : sunrise birds are messy and the flute solo sounded very scared ... like totally freak out ... choice piece landmark overture ... their overall band tone not nice and not balanced ... they sounded weak ... predicted bronze got silver ...

Canberra : they played sunrise and flight of valor ... this band full of squeaks and they dun respond to the conductor at all ... so of course they didn't play together ... band quite big but sounded new ... predicted COP got bronze ...

Fuhua : their safari sax solo not nice de ... i find that their overall sound not blending de ... their jericho not bad ... can feel a little of excitement ... the slow part was nice ... they played the slow part better than the fast part ... predicted silver got silver ...

River Valley : sunrise was okay ... stabat mater dolorosa flute solo was good !!! ... the tone was nice ... and at one part i can actually hear the bassoon !!! ... lol ... why i'm surprised ? ... cause most bands bassoon can't be heard ... overall RV is a powerful band ... a second yuhua ... i love it when bands breathe together lol ... nice effect ... and their movements can make you drunk ... predicted gold got gold ...

interval ... i tell you hor ... as you can see rite ... the results ... quite slack ? ... most of the time i predict sure tio de but now is all out ... so we come after interval ...

Seng Kang : sunrise clar bird played well ... it sounded nice ... but i dun like their sunrise ending ... they just anyhow cres ... choice piece when the tears fell ... overall sound not that clear ... predicted silver got silver ...

Greenridge : sunrise and where the river flows ... they were like messy and muddy ... its just like one chunk of noise ... predicted bronze got bronze ...

Cedar Girls : sunrise birds doesn't sound like birds ... actually it sounded like nothing ... they played yiddish dances Mvt 1 & 5 and they had a nice ending ... and i tell you their tbones are good ... predicted gold got silver ...

Zhenghua : sunrise entrance was nice ... but later part they made alot mistakes in sunrise ... der vogelhandler was nice ... overall hor they had a compact sound ... love the ending of choice piece ... and the band sounded so er ... really like following shuqun ... predicted silver got sliver ...

Christ Church : they played sunrise and westridge overture ... all i will say is they need more sound control for now ... predicted COP got COP ...

Unity : this one ah ... i not happy with the judges ... they played sunrise ... honestly it wasn't that nice ... quite a few mistakes ... but it was still okay ... rhapsody for hannukah was nice ... until now i still love the first A note of the flute solo ... so nice you know ... fion played it nice sia ... wonder how she did it ... but her sunrise solo not that nice leh ... oops how i know her name sia :X ... lol ... later then i say ... continue first ... the trpts were messy at one part but when the trpt solo played by jonathan was nice sia ... he played it well ... predicted silver got bronze ...

zzzzzz as you can see ... first half most i got it all wrong ... and everyone was like higher than i predicted ... then second half all either lower or same ... wtf ? ... the judges standard before interval is quite slack le lor ... AMK should only get gold ... their cousin band commonwealth played much better than them ... wenxiang told me judges go for good winds sound ... which is something like winds dominating ... but commonwealth had a better winds than AMK ... but commonwealth gold only ... the GWH is overrated lah ... of course i agree St Pat should get the GWH ... they were really good ... but AMK were not better than xinmin or commonwealth ... all 3 schools same conductor ... he must be a happy man ... okay back to topic ...

you can really see first half so lenient ... then second half they put the standard back ... OMG ... what happened to the judges during the interval !!! ... someone brainwashed them ? ... the worse one is unity lah ... they really sounded like a silver band and they deserve the silver but really dunno why they got bronze ... i know they aiming for gold lah ... but with hannukah can't get gold de ... unless play like those pro recordings ... sad lah they all ... stupid judges ... unstable ears lol ...

anyway oh ya how i get to know the names ... simple lah ... they unity band mah ... which is miss tan ex band ... then refat got teach too ... so i was helping refat with fuchun and pioneer mah ... so when got performance or something like that those 6 will be there ... except the SCH rehearsal only 2 of their gang was there ... so hor ... got once ... at causeway point ... i was playing with jon (ahbao tummy) ... then the guy called jonathan mah ... so he tot i calling him ... so after that then i know he call jonathan ... so thats how i got to know his name ... then from there i decided to be a stalker :X ... not exactly but anyway i went to search friendster for them ... hey i want to know that clar girl mah :X ... eventhough fion more cute but who cares ... i just want to know that clar girl ... so i go search le ... then found one of them de blog ... so thats how i got to know all their names ... yes i'm a stalker but whatever ... i just want to know her ... simple as that ... of course i wun say who is the her here ... anyway in their gang got 2 clar de :D ... so i guess i'm safe ? ... maybe she will be the next unique one ... so yeah thats the story ...

SYF band day 2 !!! ... fuck blogger.com -_- ... my draft disappear zzzz ... anyway ... first day the standard was set as it was moderated ... here it goes again ...

Catholic High School : sunrise was good ... i can hear that they are really out to kill other bands ... first band then play until like want to totally trash other bands ... their birds are quite nice too ... but their trpts were not clear and together ... incantation and dance sounded nice !!! ... their starting flutes were okay but only lack the core sound ... overall i tot they were good ... predicted gold got silver ... oh ya their sunrise was a new style that i didn't hear at all until today ...

Nan Hua : dun remember much about them they played sunrise and american riversongs got silver ...

Woodgrove : their safari wasn't that exciting ... they're missing the power ... the energy of safari ... heroic saga i can't remember le ... predicted sliver got silver ...

Orchid Park : the schoold that went from COP to GWH and now ... their sound wasn't that great ... just a normal band sound ... Sunrise was okay ... but their birds was boring ... Turandot didn't sounded nice ... the song kind of boring ... predicted silver got silver ... their overall tuning was out ... and they dun have a good ensemble sound ... BUT the best thing about them is ... their playing is VERY clear ... the clarity was superb ... their notes could be hear ... and they even played more clearly than some other gold bands ... oh btw they played without scores i think ...

Chai Chee : didn't remember much about this band ... they played sunrise and tribute and triumph predicted COP got COP ...

Xinmin : their sunrise wasn't that great but it was okay ... the flute solo was nice ... their ivanhoe was a killer ... really killed sia ... you can feel their power ... the force going towards you ... sunrise i couldn't feel that force ... ivanhoe really did make a big impact ... well its commonwealth conductor so no suprise ^^ ... they're surrounded by bert appermont lol ... got gold ...

Clementi Town : didn't remember much of them ... played sunrise and by loch and mountain ... got silver ...

Yishun Town : hmmm ... sunrise was okay ... the birds were normal ... nth interesting ... their choice piece the spirit of orpheus ... didn't remember much about that piece ... predicted silver got silver ...

Anglican High School : their safari was quite good ... a bit of excitement there but messy ... they're weren't together ... noah's ark was bad ... their sound wasn't there ... you can't feel the hurricane ... the music is not travelling ... predicted silver got silver ...

Chestnut Drive : forget le ... they played sunrise and canto ... got bronze ...

Broadrick : this band ... i see the conductor i want to laugh ... like some secondary school teacher go up and conduct ... they played sunrise and colours and configuration ... predicted COP got COP ...

Jurongville : their birds are quite okay ... sunrise was just a normal one bah ... into the joy of spring was okay ... at least there was something ... predicted silver got silver ...

Dunman : i tot they played sunrise well ... but their overture jubiloso wasn't that nice ... but still okay ... lack the wow factor ... predicted silver got silver ...

as you can see the AM session was like so strict lah ... so my PM session was based on the results of the AM session ...

Crescent Girls' : i didn't hear this band cause its ahbao fault ... they played sunrise and da pacem domine ... got gold ...

Clementi Woods : forget le ... they played safari and ascentium ... got silver ...

St Patrick's : THIS IS GODLIKE !!! their safari was full of punch ... rhapsody on the theme of paganini was incredible ... they are like so clean lah ... and with so few mistakes ... their sound can really travel ... and they are really blowing ... nice ... predicted gold got GWH ... at that time i didn't know they will announce GWH ...

Macpherson : forget le ... they played sunrise and operatica ... got bronze ...

Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' : wah memory getting worse le ... forget this also ... they played sunrise and symphonic paraphrase ... predicted silver got sliver ...

Coral : sunrise was okay ... their band so big but played quite soft ... when they played alvamar overture they sounded like they want to kill ppl but yet they can't kill !!! ... wah they just throw the sound at you ... starting was like sooooo harsh ... predicted silver got bronze ...

First Toa Payoh : forget le ... they played sunrise and a jubilant overture ... got bronze ...

Raffles Girls' : i'm disappointed in them ... they didn't play well for both pieces ... but their sunrise flute solo was nice ... she had a nice tone ... only i find too much vibrato again ... christmas scene from la boheme was boring ... they didn't sound good ... predicted a silver got a gold ... btw their band looks like a primary school band rofl ... all looks so kiddy like that ...

Chua Chu Kang : forget le ... they played safari and imperatrix overture ... got bronze ...

Fuchun : ahhhh fuchun ... nth to say bah ... played safari and festivo predicted COP got bronze ... since the AM session bands who play better got COP ...

Siglap : they played safari and ghost fleet ... got silver ...

Yio Chu Kang : they didn't play well ... wasn't impressive ... they played sunrise and monish pirates mvmt 3 ... predicted bronze got silver ... i tell you their supports tot they played very well and can get gold ... they were so wronggggggg ... if the judges were as strict as AM session they would have gotten a bronze ...

Anglo-Chinese School (Barker) : they didn't play well ... played sunrise and prophesy ... predicted bronze got bronze ...

thats all for day 2 ... day 3 i not going but maybe day 4 i will go ... let me tell you all a secret on how to get gold ... 3 things can le ... clarity, togetherness and precision ... of course still must have the basics like rhythm and intonation lah ... if you get all these i'm sure you will get a gold ^^ ... very sure ... oh and of course show off your dynamic range too ...

SYF 2007 !!! ... yes i went for today session ... from AM to PM ... freaking tiring ... i hear sunrise until so freaking sick of it ... and managed to hear all the bands in the first day ... some results are kind of unexpected ... but oh well ... i shall go down the list one by one ... pardon if i dun remember anything about the band ... i got bad memory lah ...

Woodlands : first band ... love their bird call ... was nice ... can say one of the nicest in the first day ... set piece forget le ... i predicted silver and they got silver ...

HuaYi : their sunrise flute solo sounded quite okay ... their 7th night of july sax solo wasn't that impressive ... they could have done better in their choice piece ... still lack the punch ... predicted silver got silver ...

Tanglin : sad case ... deprove alot ... sunrise i nth to say bah ... the bird call was messy ... since forget le lol ... centuria was quite messy ... alot things missing bah ... predicted bronze got bronze ...

Teck Whye : sunrise birdy doesn't sound like a bird ... the second flute solo could be hear which was good ... gypsy dance was okay ... but their overall sound is still too marching band ... not a concert band sound yet ... predicted silver got bronze ... btw like got chio bu in the band :X ...

PeiHwa : hmm i forget le this school ... they played sunrise and eagle bend ... got bronze ...

CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) : ooooo good band ... nice sounding cause all girls :X ... no lah lol ... their sunrise birdy was still okay and the flute solo was good ... full of vibrato ... but i feel that too much vibrato ... der vogelhandler was packed sia ... sounded so laoban lol ... SP band just got OWNED by them lol ... they can play nice chords sia ... quite impressed by them ... predicted gold got gold ...

Hougang : sunrise i nth to say cause by this time i'm like so bored of it le ... then can't process sunrise anymore ... feast day in seville sounded okay ... maybe still lacking of something ... i tot they played quite well but in the end ... was predicting either a silver or a low gold and they got silver ...

Commonwealth : OWNAGE !!! ... when they came in their safari it was like WOOOOOOOOOO ... a real safari lol ... was so pack sia their sound ... impressive !!! ... jericho was great ... they had the power and impact there ... they deserved the gold ... predicted gold got gold ...

Queensway : sunrise and legacy i nth to say cause i forget le ... got bronze ...

Yuhua : they played sunrise !!! OMG ... they should play safari sia ... can destroy the whole SCH ... sunrise really not their type of song sia ... but their choice piece in the spring was wonderful ... its really yuhua !!! ... they didn't disappoint me lol ... so typical of them ... whack and whack ... ooooooo nice ... i love the ghastly sounds they make ... scary ... and the ending was really a bang ... the hall almost collapse ... predicted gold got gold ...

Hillgrove : sunrise and stormchasers ... both nth to say cause forget le ... got bronze ...

Tanjong Katong Girls' : sunrise was nice ... really very tkgs ... they played so calm ... their choice piece shock the shit out of me ... toccata and fugue in D minor ... CRAZY !!! ... that piece is a freaking hard piece ... of course they had like 5 double bass and 3 tubas ... that piece is a killer ... first thing its full of chords ... and of course they played it well ... really impressed ... their sax part was good ... the intervals is sooooo hard ... but they made it ... predicted gold got gold ...

St Anthony's Canossian : safari ... this safari not much impact ... virginia was a killer for them ... not strong enough to play it ... its so wind and intonation taxing ... predicted silver got bronze ...

Kuo Chuan Presbyterian : sunrise was okay ... didn't remember much of it ... choice piece blackwater ... didn't hear before de ... i tot they played okay and should get silver ... but in the end got bronze ... oh btw this school got chio bu !!! ... after they played then some of them sat behind us ... and one of them was ooooooooooooo nice !!! ... love to see her again :D ... but i know i can't -_- same like the unity girl :( *cries ... ahhhhh thats another story for another time ...

Temasek : sunrise birdy was nice ... and good too ... you can really feel their sound ... thats what i call blowing ... alberio was quite boring ... the song lah ... but overall the band sounded nice ... i expected a gold BUT they got silver !!! ... shock number 1 ... i really think they should get gold ...

Pioneer : played sunrise and dedication, march and celebration ... ehh no comments ... predicted COP got COP ... ahbao dun need cut of his dick le ... he said if they get bronze he will go cut WHAAHAHAH :X ... okay you can ignore what i just typed ...

Swiss Cottage : ooooooo another power pack band ... safari was better than commonwealth de ... they more intense and more excitement ... they got the best safari for now ... 3 bands play safari only anyway ... their sax solo was wonderfully superb ... love the way he jazz it ... niceeeeeeee ... but flutter flutes like quite soft ... escapade is soooooooooo their style ... they played well ... powerful band i must say ... predicted gold got gold ...

Jurong : sunrise wasn't very good ... average bah ... then second suite for band 3 and 4 mvmt ... is kind of suicide i think ... wind and intonation taxing again ... their winds not in tune lah ... then the 4 mvmt back part needs so much winds de ... not strong enough yet ... predicted bronze got bronze ...

i shall not say anymore about sunrise ... got super tired of it by now ... the rest of the schs played sunrise ...

Vitoria School : symphonic suite was nice ... all boys school so they sounded loud ... can fight with yuhua sia ... but in the end they got silver !!! ... shock number 2 ... i tot they would have at least got a gold ... they sounded impressive ... oh well ...

Yishun : exaltation ... nth to say be ... too tired to remember at SCH ... got bronze ...

Queenstown : into the light ... sounded okay .... tot they will get silver but in the end bronze ...

SiLing : they played in the winter of 1730 and this piece i never hear before de ... they had some style there ... predicted silver got silver ...

Aim for the Ace !!! ... nice drama ^^ ... this drama as usual its an Aya drama :p ... so thats why i watch it anyway ... this drama is about tennis ... yes the sport tennis ... it shows how a hiromi oka whose idol is some girl (name too long didn't remember) who play tennis and is in the same school as her ... so hiromi decided to play tennis ... she gets a really awful coach and the coach just wants her death ... literally ... so anyway she survived all the tough training and every episode she gets stronger and stronger ... of course whats a drama without those romantic love scenes rite ... the romance between hiromi and tohdou (a guy who play tennis too and is her senior) slowly deepens ... of course i'm jealous cause he gets to hug her and i dun :( ... back to topic ... but at the same time ... the coach disallow hiromi to fall deep in love ... cause she would be drown in it and can't play tennis with full concentration ... so tohdou decided to be a guy that can fully support her ... which is also known as love :X ... only they make it sounds nicer -_- ... but they got lots of inspiring words in the whole drama ... a touching drama ... and of course i love their theme song which is also their ending credits song ... ai no tameni (for the sake of love) ... it got a nice melody ... eventhough it is sang fast but throught the drama they take the melody and make it into a slow ballad ... which is WOW ... nice ... another drama also did that ... i want the sound track !!! ...
